ZINC SILICATE PRIMERS

About Striking

Inorganic zinc silicates are coatings comprising metallic zinc held in a glassy silicate matrix. The zinc metal provides galvanic corrosion protection to the mild steel substrate. The product many a times is also referred to as Cold Galvanizing as the protection offered to the mild steel surfaces is almost same to a cumbersome Hot Dip Galvanizing process.

These primers should be used for all steelwork that:

1. Is intended for use in moderate to severe coastal areas.
2. Is intended for structures with very long service lives.
3. Requires an extremely tough coating, particularly for friction-grip bolting.
4. Is too large or long to fit in a hot dip galvanizing bath.
5. Can be properly prepared by abrasive blast cleaning.
6. Where long term corrosion performance is required in a single coat.

We have below 2 main products to offer

Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer High Zinc

Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer Low Zinc

High quality primer offers corrosion resistance in aggressive corrosive environment. The coating withstands substrate temperatures up to 600deg. Centigrade. Protective film on the surface, offer excellent resistance to water, solvents, and marine environment.
Product can be customized as per need of the customer and end use. Widest range of tailor made products offer the optimum balance between Cost and Performance.

POLYURETHANES

Polyurethane coating (also known as PU coating) on metal provides a thin film, high gloss finish with exceptional weathering performance characteristics. This coating is used in virtually all industrial markets to provide a smooth durable finish that has superior resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and chemical exposure. Polyurethanes are normally used to topcoat high build epoxy and inorganic zinc.

Polyurethane Finish

To be used in epoxy and polyurethane system as a finish coat. Recommended to use in exterior industrial exposures and coastal exposures. Imparts good water resistance. Excellent weather resistance imparts gloss and shade retention properties.

ENAMELS

About Striking About Striking

Enamel paint is a term that is used to reference a paint with a hard, glossy and opaque finish. Historically, enamel paint has been used to refer to any type of paint that is oil / Alkyd based and with a considerably glossy finish.

We have two main products to offer :

Synthetic Enamel

Quick drying Synthetic Enamel

Air drying alkyd based high gloss general purpose synthetic enamel is recommended to use on exterior as well as interiors of industrial atmosphere. Meets the performance requirements of IS 2932. It can be used for overacting primers / undercoats based on alkyd as well as epoxy.
Quick Drying Synthetic Enamels are preferred widely in Industries like various Machines, Motors, Control Panels etc.

FLOOR COATINGS

Epoxy is basically a thermosetting resin used widely for outstanding Chemical Resistance and Abrasion Resistance. Epoxy floorings are often used on floors because of their reputation for toughness and durability from wear and chemicals. Epoxy flooring or Epoxy Floor Paint have excellent outstanding chemical resistance, durability, low porosity & strong bond strength. Hence it is applied on floors to save it from wear and chemicals. The coating offers a monolithic – joint less flooring suitable for Industrial application. The product is very popular in Pharmaceutical Industries, Dust Free areas in various industries, Parking Areas, Auto Show Rooms etc. Epoxy Flooring is available in choice of colors, to enhance aesthetic value of the surface.

HEAT RESISTANT ALUMINIUM PAINT

About Striking

High temperature paint and coating (heat resistant coatings) has a special property which allows them to withstand high temperatures. These coatings are designed for challenging environments which require heat resistance. Nevertheless, one must not confuse high temperature coating and fire proof coating. High temperature coatings increase the substrate’s ability to withstand high temperatures but does not protect the material from fire, like a fire retardant paint.

They additionally provide protection against problems like corrosion and over heating. The high temperature coatings can be based on Synthetic Resins, Silicon Resins or multi polymer matrix resins. The composition of the coating is dependent on the level of heat resistance.

We have below products to offer:

Heat Resistant Silicone Aluminium Paint 600 deg

Heat Resistant Silicone Aluminium Paint 500 deg

Heat Resistant Aluminium Paint 250 deg

Except Inorganic Zinc silicate primers, no other primers can withstand higher temperatures.
Most of the times, Heat Resistant Coatings are recommended for direct application on the metal substrate.

EPOXY COATINGS

Epoxy coatings are created through the generation of a chemical reaction that uses an epoxide resin and polymine hardener. When these two chemicals are combined, the result is a process known as curing, which can take between several minutes to several hours and turns the liquid epoxy coating into an extremely strong and durable solid, often with strong mechanical properties, as well as resistance to high temperatures and chemicals. Because of these properties, these materials provide significant advantages over one-component coatings.
Epoxy coatings are formulated with optimum levels of a hardener for a given level of epoxy resin. The ratio differs from product to product. The use of an improper hardener may result in an under catalyzed or over catalyzed product. Many epoxy coatings require a specified induction time to fully compatibilize the epoxy resin and the hardener. Lower temperatures generally require longer induction periods.
Epoxy coatings are popular because they provide a quick-drying, tough and protective coating.

We have below products to offer:

Epoxy Primers

Epoxy High Build Zinc Rich Primer

Two Component, Air Drying Zinc Rich Primer with 90% zinc dust on dry film.
Offers excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance in highly aggressive conditions. Recommended DFT can be achieved in application of one coat.

Epoxy High Build Zinc Phosphate Primer Redoxide/ Grey

Air-drying, alkyd based primer surfacer with zinc phosphate to be used in mild corrosive atmosphere. Recommended to use as a undercoating for better gloss retention of the finish coat.

Epoxy High Build MIO Coating

Two Component, high build, Epoxy Undercoating, with Micacous Iron Oxide. To use as an intermediate in coating system for steel structures in extreme conditions. Excellent resistance to saline conditions. Offers good resistance to chemical splashes.
